Plenary Session: Caucus for Women in Statistics Societal Impact Award
The Caucus for Women in Statistics and Data Science established the CWS Societal Impact Award in 2020 to recognize statisticians whose contributions have influenced communities at large in terms of advancing social justice or diversity, equity, and inclusion through their research, teaching, or service. This session is organized to feature the award recipient, with the intent to promote the active involvement of statisticians in society.
