Awards
ICES VII is offering one travel award (up to $2,000) for a statistician/researcher from a developing nation* to help cover expenses such as travel, accommodation, and conference registration.
Applications are invited from statisticians/researchers working on topics relevant to the conference and must be supported by the employing research institute / organization / national statistics institute or university, where appropriate.
Applications must be submitted online by March 31, 2024, and the recipient will be notified by April 10, 2024.
*This list of developing countries, also used for ASA membership, is adopted from the World Bank and is the basis for the countries eligible applicants can be residents of.
A limited number of travel awards are available to help students and early-career professionals attend the conference.
To be eligible, applicants must be either students enrolled in a terminal degree program (bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral) or have completed a master’s or doctoral degree program within the last three years (2021–2024).
Applications must be submitted online by April 15, 2024.
