Welcome to ICES VII!
The Seventh International Conference on Establishment Statistics (ICES VII) will be held in Glasgow, Scotland, June 17–20, 2024. Continuing in the tradition of ICES I to ICES VI, ICES VII will explore new areas of establishment statistics while showcasing state-of-the-art methodology.
ICES VII organizers are excited to bring the conference to Scotland for the first time and expect the host city and venue to be attractive to professionals, students, and researchers in statistics from academia, government statistical agencies, private businesses, and statistical associations throughout the world.
The conference will include the following:
- Short courses at introductory, intermediate, and advanced levels
- Introductory overview lectures about important and timely topics
- A selection of invited, topic-contributed, and contributed papers
- Keynote speakers
- Hybrid speed and poster sessions
- Software demonstrations
All conference programming will be held at Glasgow Caledonian University.
The preceding conferences in the ICES series have attracted 350–400 participants, and we trust ICES VII—placed in the historical and cultural powerhouse that is Glasgow—will attract the same, as it reflects the relevance of business, agricultural, economic, and other establishment statistics.
