How to Participate in the Career Service as an Applicant

The CSP Career Service is an online system that runs concurrently with the Conference on Statistical Practice. It is intended as a launching point for employers and applicants to learn about opportunities and set up informal meetings and interviews.

The CSP Career Service is primarily an online service, and is not your typical career fair. Instead, it is focused on providing opportunities for candidates to interview with top statistical employers. You can proactively search the positions and contact the employers of interest to you through our online messaging service. Employers will arrange interviews with you directly.

Applicant registration includes...

  • Access to our Online Employer Search, including online job postings from our registered employers
  • Access to the online Career Service Message Center to contact employers of interest
  • The potential to meet interested employers informally at the 2016 CSP! Employers often contact applicants prior to the meeting to arrange onsite interviews.

Online Employer Registration includes the following:

  • Five distinct job postings in the online postings, available to all registered applicants. Additional postings are available.
  • Online access to all applicants from November 15, 2015 — April 30, 2016. The database also includes an online search capability that allows you to enter criteria to narrow the applicant pool to your opening.

Online Employer Registration with an Interview Room includes the following:

  • Ten distinct job postings in the online postings, available to all registered applicants. Additional postings are available.
  • Online access to all applicants from November 15, 2015 — April 30, 2016 via the online, interactive database and message service.
  • A private room for your exclusive use to interview candidates (space is limited).
