In this talk, I would like to describe the multi-facets of a data science project to map a cell's destiny. Our team consists of statisticians, biologists and computer scientists. It is a project about unveiling mysteries in spatial gene expression data as well as about learning to work with collaborators of different backgrounds and personalities. It is about connecting with people at scientific and personal levels.
