If you are paying by check or money order, you must register by mail:

If you are paying by credit card, you may register online, by fax (703) 997-7299, or by mail. We are unable to accept purchase orders.

Cancellations/Substitutions

For general registrations and add-on items (transactions in May 2020 and later): All fees are nonrefundable.

Because of COVID-19, the nonrefundable registration fee paid by participants (speakers/panelists/discussants/chairs/
organizers/poster presenters) during abstract submission will be fully refunded if registration is canceled by June 10, 2020. After June 10, no requests for refunds will be honored, though transferring registration to another person is allowed at no penalty.

All cancellations and substitutions must be submitted in writing.

Good to Know

• Register early to avoid delays.
• Avoid multiple registrations and charges by submitting your registration only once.
• Know your organization’s reimbursement policies before you register.
• Submit check requests to your organization in sufficient time to meet registration deadlines.
• Obtain permission from the cardholder in advance of registration deadlines if you’re using a departmental credit card. The JSM Registration Department can assist you if you need to use multiple forms of payment.
