Description

The talks in this session, "Use of Web-Based Methods to Broaden the Reach of Statistics," will explore and provide examples of statistical resources currently-available on the Internet and new ways that Web-based methods could be leveraged to promote the use of statistics. Areas that will be considered in the selection of talks will include distance-based learning and teaching of statistics, internet-based statistics reference resources, interactive statistical consulting, statistics discussion groups, and statistical software online.
