Postponed: 6th International Conference on Establishment Statistics

After careful consideration of the evolving concerns around COVID-19, we have made the very difficult decision to postpone the upcoming 6th International Conference on Establishment Statistics (ICES VI) until 2021. Information regarding the postponed conference—including dates and deadlines—will be provided in the coming months.

We will refund all ICES 2020 registrant payments within the next few weeks. There is no need to contact the ICES registration team; however, hotel and travel arrangement cancellations are the responsibility of the traveler.

In the meantime, should you have any questions, please feel free to send them to ices@amstat.org.

Welcome to ICES VI!

The Sixth International Conference on Establishment Statistics (ICES VI) will be held in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, June 14–17, 2021. Continuing in the traditions of ICES-I to ICES-V, ICES VI will explore new areas of establishment statistics, as well as reflect state-of-the-art methodology at the time of the conference.

Situated in the French Quarter of New Orleans—a unique city known for its vibrant music and delicious beignets—ICES VI is expected to be attractive to professionals and researchers in statistics on businesses, farms, and institutions throughout the world.

The conference will include the following:

  • Short courses at introductory, intermediate, and advanced levels
  • Introductory overview lectures about important and timely topics
  • Selection of invited and contributed papers
  • Two keynote speakers
  • Speed sessions and software demonstrations

All conference activities will be held at the Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans.

The preceding conferences in the ICES series have regularly attracted 350–400 participants, and we trust ICES VI—placed in the culturally and historically rich New Orleans—will reflect the relevance of business, agricultural, economic, and other establishment statistics.

Dear visitor, we do hope that, based on this information, the conference will be of sufficient interest for you to contribute to it as an author, session organizer, sponsor, exhibitor, or participant!
