Courses

CSP 2015 will offer two full-day and six half-day (three morning and three afternoon) courses on Thursday, February 19. In addition, four tutorials will be offered during the afternoon on Saturday, February 21.

Conference registration opens October 1. Please check back closer to the opening of registration for detailed course descriptions.

Courses, Tutorials, and Practical Computing Expos are ticketed events and have limited availability. If you intend to register for a short course, tutorial, or practical computing expo onsite, please check with the ASA office first to verify availability.

Practical Computing Demos

Practical Computing Demos will be offered on Saturday, February 21. How are demos different from short courses, tutorials, and presentations in the concurrent sessions?

  1. Particular products or services are showcased at the demo without a focus on teaching a specific statistical method. For example, an overview of a software product, demonstration of new features, or discussion of the benefits of a particular style of consulting services.
  2. Demos are targeted to an audience specifically interested in software products or services.
  3. Information and sales brochures may be provided to attendees.
  4. There is no additional cost for conference attendees to come to the demo.
