Gini Coefficient

GiniThe Gini coefficient is a way to measure how equally a resource is distributed across a population. A coefficient of zero indicates complete equality while the closer the coefficient is to one, the greater the concentration of the resource in the hands of a small group.

How equal is the distribution of income in our nation for example between city dwellers and agricultural and fisheries workers?
