Oil RigsClimate Modeling: In K.K. Tung’s book Topics in Mathematical Modeling this equation is used as a simple climate model to understand global climate. This equation is an excellent example of a model that is simple enough to understand, yet complex enough to gain an understanding of the sensitivity of our climate system.
