A Hands-On Tour of Q-Notes, Software for Cognitive Interviewing (303174)
*Meredith Massey, National Center for Health StatisticsQ-Notes is software program specifically developed to help researchers manage and analyze data from cognitive interviewing studies. Q-Notes was developed by the Collaborating Center for Questionnaire Design and Evaluation Research (CCQDER) at the National Center for Health Statistics to support cognitive interviewing studies. Q-Notes can simplify the aggregation and analysis of data in complex project such as those with multiple interviewers, those conducted in multiple languages or those involving paired respondents. This workshop will familiarize participants with the various functions of Q-Notes through hands-on examples. Specifically, participants will learn how to set up a project, enter interview notes, code narratives and utilize a variety of analysis functions.
