Description

Technologies for mobile computer-assisted field data collection are evolving rapidly. Presenters discuss alternative mobile devices for household survey applications, pen-based screening and interviewing software developed for a household survey, cognitive aspects of using digital maps and GPS for planning and navigation in an establishment survey, and the impact of these developments on the survey process.
