Description

The charge of the ASA Membership Committee is "to promote membership in the American Statistical Association." In 2001 the ASA Board of Directors created a Task Force on Membership. Its charge is to recommend what actions the Association should take to better serve its current members, to identify prospective members, and to recruit new members. The purpose of this session is to present how the Committee and Task Force have used statistics to address these charges. It is an example of practicing what we preach.
