Abstract:

The charge of the ASA's Task Force on Membership was to recommend what actions the Association should take to better serve its current members, to identify prospective members, and to recruit new members. The speaker will describe how the Task Force used discussion groups at conferences and at other locations to answer questions such as what benefits current and future members want. She will explain the use of focus groups and surveys to collect similar data.
