Description

This session will discuss the need to incorporate Six Sigma and Quality Methods into the Statistics curriculum in colleges and universities. The major thrust of this session will be to encourage and assist faculty who want to include this material in their courses to better prepare students for work in industry. The speakers will discuss pragmatic issues of where to obtain course materials. In addition, they will discuss the importance of communication skills so that graduates can work with engineers, accounts, and managers on their project.
