New and recent developments in network sampling

Recent years have seen rapid development of sampling design and inference methods for network structured populations. These methods are particularly useful for studies of hidden populations for which link-tracing designs provide the most practical means of access. In this talk I will survey the recent developments and describe some basic results on which these methods are based.
