Practical Computing Demos
Call for Proposals
Do you have a software demonstration or consulting service you would like to share with our audience of statistical practitioners—including data analysts, researchers, and scientists?
The 2018 CSP program has room for four Practical Computing Demonstrations (PCDs) on Saturday, February 17, 2018, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. If your content will expand attendees’ statistical or software skills, we invite you to submit your proposal. Your demonstration will be included in the conference program if it is selected.
The benefits of giving a Practical Computing Demonstration include the following:
- Showcase your particular product or service! You will have two hours to interact with your audience. Present an overview of your software, demonstrate new features and functions, or discuss the benefits of your consulting services.
- Reach an audience specifically interested in your software product or service and improve their understanding and proficiency.
- Provide your attendees with information and pre-work prior to the conference, if desired.
- Provide detailed product or service information to attendees.

Practical Computing Demonstrations should be consistent with one or more of the conference themes and will be selected based on the value to attendees.
