Monthly giving is one of the easiest and most impactful ways to support the American Statistical Association.
What’s so great about monthly giving?
- Set it once and make an impact all year. Your gift is automatically charged each month to the amount you choose, so you never have to remember to donate again. However, you can increase, decrease, pause, or stop your gift at any time.

Join the Helen Walker Society
Donors who contribute $85+/month ($1,000 or more combined annually) qualify for membership in the Helen Walker Society, a level that recognizes leadership support that helps sustain and expand ASA programs year-round. Members receive special recognition and invitations to exclusive events and opportunities for deeper engagement within the ASA community.
What can your monthly gift do?
- $5/month can support K–16 STEM education resources that introduce students to statistics and data science early on.
- $10/month can help support an ASA student chapter for a semester, building leadership skills and community for future statisticians.
- $20/month can help a student participate in the Diversity Mentoring Program during the Joint Statistical Meetings, creating mentorship and career connections that can last a lifetime.
- $50/month can fully fund an annual Student and Early Career Travel Award, opening doors to networking, mentorship, and professional growth.
- $85/month can help support initiatives that bring statistics to broader audiences, including the Dionne Price Public Lecture and the Telling Our Stories video series, both of which help to increase public understanding of how statistics informs and shapes the world around us.
- $100/month can help fund a Communities in Action microgrant, supporting local projects in which ASA members partner with community organizations to use data and statistics to solve real-world challenges.
