CIBB 2026 - International Conference on Computational Intelligence Methods for Bioinformatics and Biostatistics

CIBB 2026 (International Conference on Computational Intelligence Methods for Bioinformatics and Biostatistics) is an international scientific conference focusing on the development and application of statistical, computational, and data-driven methods in the life sciences.

Royal Statistical Society 2026 International Conference

The Houston Area Chapter of the ASA (HACASA) will be offering the short course "Survival Analysis Methods Correcting for Treatment Switching Effects in Randomized Clinical Trials" as part of the ASA Traveling Course program. Since the course is virtual, members from other chapters are welcome to attend. 2026 AISC Conference Advances in Interdisciplinary Statistics and Combinatorics

Call for poster proposals: We invite submissions of abstracts for poster presentations. The abstract should be original (theoretical, methodological, or applied) research on functional data, random objects or AI. Each person may only submit one abstract. Please use this form (https://forms.gle/axzfzLN9TVZqXxfV7) to submit your poster proposal. This form will ask you to upload an extended abstract of length at most 1 page with at least 1 inch margin on each side and your latest CV, both in pdf format. Please name your submitted files as Lastname_Firstname_abs.pdf and Lastname_Firstname_cv.pdf, respectively.

Summer Institte in Statistical Genetics

The Summer Institute in Statistical Genetics (SISG) has been offered annually in the US since.in 1995. It is now directed by Greg Gibson at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. We are delighted that for the 3rd time in its history, a version of SISG will be run in New Zealand, hosted Waipapa Taumata Rau - University of Auckland.

Workshop on Statistics and Applications

We are pleased to welcome you to the Workshop on Statistics and Applications, which will take place at ISEG - Universidade de Lisboa, in Lisbon, on 4-5 December 2026.

Held on the occasion of the 70th birthday of Wenceslao González Manteiga, this international scientific meeting is organised by ISEG Research, in collaboration with the Centre of Mathematics of the University of Minho (CMAT), the Centre of Mathematics of the University of Porto (CMUP), the Centre for Mathematics of the University of Coimbra (CMUC), and the Galician Centre for Mathematical Research and Technology (CITMAga). The workshop will bring together leading researchers in Statistics and related fields to present and discuss recent methodological advances and their applications across a wide range of scientific domains.

This event honours Professor Wenceslao González Manteiga (University of Santiago de Compostela) in recognition of his outstanding contributions to modern nonparametric statistics. His work has had a profound impact on areas such as kernel methods, functional data analysis, spatial statistics, and the analysis of complex data structures. Over the course of his distinguished career, he has authored numerous highly cited publications and supervised many doctoral students who now hold academic positions worldwide. He has also played a central role in fostering international collaboration within the statistical community, maintaining long-standing scientific links with many universities, including several institutions in Portugal.

The Annual Deming Conference on Applied Statistics

The Annual Deming Conference on Applied Statistics will be held from Monday, December 7 to Wednesday, December 9, 2026, followed by two parallel 2-day short courses on Thursday, December 10, and Friday, December 11, 2026, at the state-of- art Tropicana Atlantic City (2831 Boardwalk, Atlantic City, NJ, 08401, USA).

The purpose of the 3-day Deming Conference on Applied Statistics is to provide a learning experience on recent developments in statistical methodologies in biopharmaceutical applications. The conference is composed of twelve three- hour tutorials on current topics in applied biopharmaceutical statistics and FDA regulations, three one-hour distinguished keynotes on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
