The membership voted and elected Wendy Martinez, director of the Mathematical Statistics Research Center at the Bureau of Labor Statistics, as the 115th president of the American Statistical Association! She will serve as president-elect beginning in 2019 before she takes office as president in 2020. Members also elected Richard De Veaux, professor of statistics at Williams College, as vice president.
