With over 6,800 attendees, JSM 2015 was packed! In the convention's lively exhibit hall, ASA members enjoyed more than 100 exhibits and refueled minds and bodies in the breaks between more than 700 sessions. Don't miss your chance to register in advance for the 11th International Conference on Health Policy Statistics (ICHPS) in Providence, RI! Throughout the last 19 years, ICHPS, organized by ASA's Health Policy Statistics Section, has played a vital role in the dissemination process of health policy (and health services) statistics. ICHPS provides a unique forum for discussing research needs and solutions to the methodological challenges in the design of studies and analysis of data for health policy research.

World Statistics Day 2015 approaches! Celebrated every October 20th since 2010, World Statistics Day brings together a long tradition of national and regional holidays honoring statisticians and their work. According to the World Statistics Day website, "The year of 2015 marks an important cornerstone for official statistics, with the conclusion of the Millennium Development Goals, the post-2015 development agenda, the data revolution, the preparations for the 2020 World Population and Housing Census Programme and so much more."
