Did you know that over the past year, ASA student membership has almost doubled as we welcomed over 1,500 new student members into the Association? As a special promotion for students of statistics, ASA offered a dues rate of only $10 to new student members for their first year of membership. If you know students of statistics who would be interested in this offer, direct them to our Student Membership page.

Special Offer - New ASA Section
The ASA welcomes our newest Section, the Section on Statistics in Defense and National Security (SDNS). In November, the Council of Sections approved a petition to form a new ASA Section. This new Section represents the evolution of the Committee on Statisticians in Defense and National Security. The purpose of this new Section is to provide a forum for statisticians working in the areas of military research and counterterrorism. ASA members who wish to join SDNS can do so for no additional charge for the remainder of their current membership year. Contact Monica Clark, ASA Chapter & Sections Coordinator, to join SDNS now!
