Many of us who work in health policy and decision making have stories to tell that never quite make into academic journals and presentations. But oh are they worth telling! You are invited to this round table to share your stories about working in the field, on the front lines or behind them. We want to hear about your adventures with policy makers and evidence generators, about the intrigue involved in attempting to bring statistical sense to the unfathomable or unreasonable, and about the life lessons you've learned along the way. Your round table discussion facilitator is a health policy statistician, past chair of HPSS and co-program chair for ICHPS 2023, who has worked with national cancer screening guidelines panels as well as with her state department of health on statewide Covid-19 policy decisions.
