Abstract:

We present our findings from statistical analyses and visualizations of the New York City Housing and Vacancy Survey data and data from other sources. Over time, housing conditions have improved, but at varying rates for different subsectors. We explore some possible reasons for these discrepancies. All analyses and visualizations use the R programming language.
