This roundtable will discuss the following topics: What kinds of quantitative evidence should a researcher seek to feel reasonably confident that if he/she adopts a given practice based on this evidence of the outcome of the research? What should a quantitative methods course look like to that would develop students’ skills to recognize, evaluate, and apply these kinds of evidence?
