Abstract:
|
One of the characteristics of the modern data context is the wide availability of diverse data sources that complement each other to study a phenomenon or population. Methodologies for combining information allow us to better exploit today's data abundance, and therefore they ought to play a central role in data science. We present a (convenience) sample of research topics in data integration, and emphasize their promises and challenges.
