Abstract:

This paper reports a text analysis for years 2000 - 2015 of all abstracts in 19 top business journals and 17 top statistics journals showing the topics that have appeared in these journals, how these topics have trended over the 16 year period, and how these topics are interrelated (or not) for researchers in business and statistics . This builds on our previous research showing associations and communication among the journals using citation analysis for three "snapshots" in years 2000, 2005 and 2010 and text analysis for three intervals 200 - 2004, 2005 - 2009, and 2009 - 2015.
