Description

In modeling growth and change, a traditional approach has been to estimate parametric curves and to make inferences on the underlying parameters. This method may fail, however, when the parametric model is not sufficiently flexible to capture the actual behavior of the curves. These speakers will explore alternative approaches that model the data more faithfully and flexibly.
