Description

Telephone sampling is operating in an environment dramatically different than it was ten years ago. The panelists present an overview of these changes and discuss how they affect the sample frame and the potential for increasing bias. This includes changes to the telephone system and service providers, the impacts of new telephone technology (e.g., privacy manager type call-screening systems) and shifts in respondent attitudes (e.g., do-not-call lists).
