Description

The speakers are the Graphics Director and a Graphics Editor at the New York Times, in one of the largest graphics departments in the world. The department includes more than 30 editors, reporters, artists and cartographers who produce everything from small locator maps to poster-sized science diagrams. Scholars often cite Times graphics for the clarity and precision of their design, and staff members regularly win awards in national and international competitions, and they'll describe how they do it.
