Description

In the last few years there has been increasing interest in the health and welfare of children. There is also increasing concern that medical and health interventions be specifically investigated in children rather than relying on extrapolations from adult studies. This session will address availability of data on children, as well as special issues of data collection and analysis such as developing health indicators, the use of survey data, and optimal study design.
