Abstract:
|
This presentation will discuss how emerging technologies in screen recording can be used to create documents that enhance student learning with a practical demonstration of a special case. The talk will begin with personal experiences with the technology in the classroom and the development of a cohesive online document to facilitate students' learning. Students' reactions to the new presentation of standard introductory statistical material will be explained, as well as the instructors' perceptions of their performance with, and attitude toward, the material. Finally, a hands-on presentation of the creation of a sample video will be outlined. Discussion of available technologies for creating this learning media will follow.
