Practical Computing Demos

Call for Proposals

Do you have a software demonstration or consulting service you would like to share with our audience of statistical practitioners—including data analysts, researchers, and scientists?

The 2020 CSP program has room for four Practical Computing Demonstrations (PCDs) on Saturday, February 22, 2020, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. If your content will expand attendees’ statistical or software skills, we invite you to submit your proposal. Your demonstration will be included in the conference program if it is selected.

The benefits of giving a Practical Computing Demonstration include the following:

  • Showcasing your particular product or service! You will have two hours to interact with your audience. Present an overview of your software, demonstrate new features and functions, or discuss the benefits of your consulting services.
  • Reaching an audience interested in your software product or service specifically and improving their understanding and proficiency.
  • Providing your attendees information and pre-work prior to the conference, if desired.
  • Providing detailed product or service information to attendees.
