Statisticians have important things to say. Let's get better at saying them. Good analysis is key to good results. Effective communication of those results is vital to making a useful impact. Communication of statistical results must keep up with the high quality of visual presentation in today's world. We will illustrate through examples how to improve your communication of results, especially graphically. Participants will be given tools that can be put into practice immediately as well as more complex skills that can be developed. Tools presented include design guides, visualization software and links to online examples, tutorials & blogs. Integration of statistical output with these visualization tools will be demonstrated. This is an immediately useful topic to anyone working with data.
