Streetcars
Enjoy an eco-friendly Street Car ride along the riverfront. There are many stops to get off and experience the European charm of the French Quarter. You can travel down Canal Street to explore Mid-City. The St. Charles Avenue line, the oldest in the nation, starts downtown and then travels up St. Charles Avenue past some of the most breathtaking scenery in the city, and ends at the foot of the Mississippi River.

Carriage Rides
Experience the leisurely pace of a carriage ride. They are a rustic way to tour the streets of the French Quarter. Carriage drivers are usually very knowledgeable about the city's history and provide some enlightenment during your ride. Carriages can be boarded on the Decatur Street side of Jackson Square almost any hour of the day. Most carriages can be hailed from the street corner.
