Charge:
Special subcommittee created to select yearly Gertrude M. Cox Scholarship Award winners. This subcommittee is jointly coordinated between ASA COWIS and the Caucus for Women in Statistics as authorized in the COWIS charge. The Gertrude M. Cox Scholarship Award Fund was established and funded in 1989 by the Caucus for Women in Statistics and is managed by the ASA.
Composition:
The subcommittee consists of three members, appointed by the Chair of the Committee on Women in Statistics. One of the members is also appointed by the Committee Chair to serve as Chair of the Subcommittee. The Past President of the Caucus for Women in Statistics serves as an ex-officio member.
