ASA LGBTQ+ Advocacy Committee

Charge:
To support research on statistical issues associated with sexual orientation and gender-identity. To work to promote equal opportunity in employment and education for all statisticians regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
Composition:
The committee is composed of nine members, three of whom are appointed/reappointed each year by the President Elect for three year terms. One member is appointed by the President Elect (when necessary) to serve as the Chair.
