*Meghan Tooman, DORIS ResearchKeywords: collaboration, design thinking, communication
Being a statistician can be highly collaborative and truly multidisciplinary and all of that can be fun. Truly effective collaboration requires flexibility in communicating with various fields of industry.
In this highly participatory session, we will talk about what being truly multidisciplinary means to a statistician; what it looks like, with whom, and gives some specific actionable tools to take home. We will discuss partnership between qualitative and quantitative research giving a short introduction to design-thinking, a people-centered process for solving complex challenges. And, we may have some fun along the way!
