As we continue to learn and grow as statisticians, data scientists, information analysts, there are essential skills, knowledge and insights that can help us significantly in our career path. Many of us experience being part of a multi-disciplinary project team, or working groups or interact with cross-functional leaders at various levels. The degree of influence and impact is a function of strong leadership skills, diversity and authenticity. The different strategic aspects to being influential and impactful will be discussed in this short course.

About the Instructor
Shanthi has over 20 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry. She joined
Lilly in late 1995 with a PhD in Statistics from Virginia Tech. Since then she has held
multiple Director roles in the areas of Manufacturing Statistics, Chemical Product
Research and Development, and Regulatory Affairs, and Project Management. Throughout her career she has driven statistical and scientific thinking supporting early and late phase portfolio and has helped develop talent within the organization. She is currently the Senior Director in the Global Statistical Sciences organization, leading the Diabetes and Diabetes Complications therapeutic area. She currently sponsors the Biometrics Diversity and Inclusion effort to help further unleash our potentials and further innovation across Biometrics
