*Claire McKay Bowen, Los Alamos National Laboratory

Keywords: grant writing, scholarships, scientific communication

Global government funding for education and STEM has steadily decreased (accounting for inflation) as associated costs have risen. In this talk, I’ll provide tips and advice for undergraduate and graduate students applying for scholarships and other professional development programs. Additionally, students will learn essential skills in pitching themselves and their projects; transferable skills for their future careers.
