Entering a Session Proposal

Sign in with your ASA account to begin. You don't need to create a password — your ASA account carries your submission, and you can sign back in any time before the deadline to make edits.

Step 1: About the Session
Choose the session type, then enter the session title and a description. The description should include the focus, content, timeliness, and appeal of the session, and the list of invited panelists with affiliation and email.

Step 2: People
Enter the session organizer(s) — at least one is required, a second is optional — and the session chair. If the chair is the same person as organizer 1, tick the box and the fields fill in for you. Panelists are listed in the session description on Step 1, not here. A valid email address is required for every person.

Step 3: Review and Submit
Review everything you've entered and use the Edit links to change any step. When you click Submit Session, your proposal is saved and a confirmation number is generated and displayed for you. You'll also receive a confirmation email. To make changes later, sign back in with your ASA account before the submission deadline.
