In a year filled with public health challenges and uncertainty, the United States faced the additional challenge of conducting the constitutionally mandated decennial census. The Census Quality Indicators Task Force, convened by the American Statistical Association, described the 2020 Census as “confronting a perfect storm of adverse circumstances.” This distinguished panel brings diverse expertise and knowledge of the US census. Topics to be discussed include the citizenship question, the effect of COVID on field data collection, and self-response data collection. This panel is interactive by design so there will be ample time for attendees to ask questions and engage with the panelists.
