The traditional and advanced box plots do not show the quantification of the standard deviation rather the inter-quarterfinal range of a distribution. Attempts have been made here to demonstrate and display a new type of box plot that shows the range-based limits of the standard deviation of a data set so that statisticians and/or non-statisticians can easily find from box that what is portion of the box for the variation.
