A “grammar” consists of basic building blocks that can be composed together. Many of us are familiar with the “grammar of graphics”. What would a “grammar of data analysis” look like? This talk examines the building blocks of the analyses that we do at Google and introduces an open-source Python library, Meterstick, that we have developed to facilitate these types of analyses.
