The federal government has made progress in expanding SOGI measurement. However, data are still limited, and response and comprehension issues during data collection may remain. The studies presented in this session will highlight efforts across the federal government to expand the capacity of SOGI measurement in federal surveys to allow for critical research on sexual minorities.
