Abstract:
|
Statistical challenges arising from health administrative data include coarsened subjects' personal information and the induced data truncation of the whole population. On the other hand, it is often of great interest evaluating risk factor effects over time and previous events' influence. This talk showcases our recent projects on recurrent events data analyses, motivated by records of the mental health related emergency department visits generated from an administrative cohort. We develop approaches to addressing the typical issues of administrative data with loosely structured models and readily available supplementary information.
