Abstract:

Neuroimaging data is rich in information but notoriously has a lot of noise. We will focus on recent statistical methodologies for tractography and connectivity tests based on Diffusion tensor imaging data and on uncertainty quantification for Functional MRI data. These methods are important for the early diagnosis of brain disorders and diseases such as Alzheimer's disease. Optimal functional data classification, Minimax lower bound for High order tensor models, and Statistical tractography will all be discussed.
