Abstract:
|
We develop a class of Hawkes process models for multivariate spatial point patterns on the globe. The proposed models are nonstationary in space, and allow flexible marginal and cross-triggering structure. Specific features of spatial triggering functions are motivated by global terrorism data, which presents complex spatial nature in its first and second order intensity functions. Computational issues for dealing with multivariate global spatial point patterns will also be discussed.
