Abstract

I first wrote to Ken on 6 June 1986. I think it was a query or request for a reprint having to do with collocated sampling. Uncharacteristically of me, I apparently did not save a copy of that letter. But Ken replied on 19 June and included a bunch of reprints (remember those?). So began a 27-year series of emails, letters, Christmas cards, publications, presentations, and even a 2002 visit to Yale. My talk in remembrance of Ken will touch lightly on some of our areas of mutual interest.
